So after reading a book and watching a few You Tube clips I
was fairly sure I could adapt my average sewing machine to produce freehand embroidery.

And here is my first go at it!
For next time I’ll be getting a smaller embroidery ring so I
have more control but for first go I’m very happy. I don’t think I’ll ever
completely abandon my hand stitching – there is something so therapeutic, if a
little old lady, about sitting listening to music whilst hand sewing.
